Anyways, here are some pics of the finished product, as well as a bonus shot of E rolling around with it in her new "big girl" bed. I have to say, I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. I absolutely love the fabric. On the off chance that I ever lose my sanity and decide to make another one, I'm definitely sticking with the charm packs.
Next up, some crafting-for-hire in the form of another crayon roll and some crochet shapes. And I'm also working on making a little backpack for E.

I love your quilt. Would you mind me asking what the total size of the quilt was? I am about to start working on one for my son's room, and it's nice to know that you have made this for her toddler bed. Or maybe where you got this tutorial from.
I've washed it a few times, so it's probably shrunk a bit (and it's not perfectly rectangular anymore), but it's about 39x50, give or take up to an inch. Just for comparison, the quilt that was a part of her original crib set was 36x46, so it's slightly bigger.
As far as the pattern, I bought a bunch of charm packs (pre-cut 5" squares) and mostly winged it. ;)
